It has the same phases for each of its subprojects;-the project life cycle does not have the same phases for each of its subprojects. each subproject has its own defined life cycle. although many project life cycles have similar phase names, this is not required. a project may have different life cycle phases defined in different subprojects. the project life cycle defines the beginning and end of the project. the project life cycle characterizes the work to be performed in each project phase. the project life cycle can link the project to other ongoing operations of the organization because it defines the beginning and ending points of the project.
