A chandelier is a branched decorative light fixture usually mounted on the ceilings or walls. These designs are usually metaphorical, and normally use luminous bulbs. Recently, there has been some modern designs use of fluorescent lamps and LEDs.
Archetypal types of chandeliers have collections of crystal prisms to elucidate a room with refracted light, unlike the modern chandeliers which have a minimal design without prism which cause it to illuminate a room with direct lamp and in some cases endowed with semi-transparent glass covering each lamp. Modern chandeliers have a more simplified design that uses LEDs, and combines also include some of archetypal designs, with refractive crystal prisms or small mirrors.
