AML means Acute Myeloid Leukemia while CML stands for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. CML is a type of condition that can take a long time to develop. In fact, there are some people who may have this condition, and they will not even realize that they have it. Some people may have it for years, but it may suddenly develop into AML.

Leukemia is a cancer of the blood when the cancerous blood cells form, they overrun the normal blood cells. This causes abnormality in the body in which the body is not able to carry out its normal functions like controlling bleeding, fighting infections, etc. AML is known as acute myeloid leukemia, it attacks the white blood cells in the bone marrow, and it is rare cancer. Acute myeloid leukemia causes abnormal growth of blood cells (white blood cells) in the bone marrow.
