Excedrin Migraine and Extra Strength are two different products of Excedrin, which is used for the modification of pain. However, Excedrin Migraine and Extra Strength have some differences between them. In the year 1998, Excedrin introduced migraines, after which they were granted clearance from food and drug administration.

This migraine drug is specifically made to fight against migraine pain and some other symptoms that might be associated with it. On the other hand, extra strength was introduced by this same Excedrin in the 1960s, and it happens to be the oldest of all the Excedrin's product. Extra strength was known to be the first headache drug with multiple ingredients.

You can obtain migraine in caplets form, tablets, and gel caps, while you can obtain extra strength in gelcap form. Excedrin migraine and extra strength have a similar formulation, but different dosage used. For adults, you can take two tablets of migraine in a day, while you can take up to 8 tablets of extra strength in a day.
