There are different reviews that have been studied regarding intermittent fasting. It seems that most people who try this method would lose about 3 to 8% of their total body weight from 3 weeks to 24 weeks. People normally lose about half a pound every week, which is a big deal, especially in a few weeks or so. There are different types of intermittent fasting available, and this can usually provide different results. For example, those who do alternate day fasting may lose more than a pound a week as compared to those who follow a certain schedule when fasting. The more that people are dedicated to doing intermittent fasting, the more effective it would be for them.

You can lose weight with intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting is all about limiting the number of times you eat, natural you will lose for the new eating habit. The exact amount of fat you can lose cannot be determined because many factors determine how much weight you lose. It is a known fact that people that have more body fat lose fast easier than people with less body fat. The length of your fasting period compared to your eating period can also influence the amount of fat you lose. However, on average, people on the intermittent eating pattern can lose up to 5 lbs. A week and up to 20 lbs. Or more in a month.

As you may know, intermittent fasting refers to strictly schedules cycle between voluntary fasting and non-fasting over a given period. It is down by restricting calorie intake during certain days of the week or during specified hours during the day. Intermittent fasting helps you decrease appetite by slowing down your body's metabolism. Intermittent fasting helps people lose weight, but we are not certain how much weight you can lose with intermittent fasting.

To maintain weight loss through intermittent fasting, you have to continue this diet plan. If not, you are likely to regain the weight. This shows that the results of intermittent fasting are short-termed, the research found that weight gain can occur and blood pressure readings returned to their initial levels if intermittent fasting is stopped.
