Many people like to scare their pets. They seem to think it is funny even though it puts a lot of stress of the animals. You can search youtube for home videos showing ways that cats and dogs get frightened because of their owners scaring them. In particular, cats may be scared of cucumbers, but a study and observations have been conducted by placing a cucumber near a cat without it knowing it. The scientists behind the study believe that the cat is only scared of the cucumber because it is a foreign object that wasn’t there before. It could be anything that disrupted the cat’s day or pathway.
Also, the scientists believe that cats may believe that the cucumber is an animal possibly a snake.
