Macaroni and cheese or mac and cheese is one of my favorite food because it does not only taste good, but it is also fairly easy to make. If you are planning to make one, you would need the following ingredients: 8 ounces of uncooked elbow macaroni, 2 cups of shredded cheese, ½ cup of grated parmesan cheese, 3 cups of warm milk, ¼ cup of salted butter, 2 ½ tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of salted butter, ½ cup of bread crumbs, and 1 pinch of paprika (although this ingredient is optional). First, you need to cook the macaroni according to the package instruction.

Once done, drain it and set aside. In a large saucepan, melt the ¼ cup of butter over medium heat and stir flour to make a roux. Slowly add milk while constantly stirring. Stir the cheese and cook over low heat until the cheese is melted and the sauce becomes a little thick. Place the cooked macaroni on a casserole dish and pour the sauce. Melt the 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat and then add the breadcrumbs and cook until it becomes brown in color. Spread it to the mac and cheese, cover and then bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
