At first, fast food restaurants were popular and catered to the young children and teenagers. These chains would include a toy in their meal. Plus, teenagers would work and hang out at these restaurants after school. Over time, they have become popular with working class families. Having two parents work makes it difficult for someone to cook the evening meal every day after coming home from an 8-hour workday.

Now single parents and working parents only have to stop by a drive-through restaurant without even having to get out of the car to get their dinner for them and their families. Most kids love the idea of eating fast food for dinner. Most parents enjoy the fact that they don’t have to cook or clean up a kitchen.
