School lunches today contain many preservatives, sugar and are fried and high in fat. Putting fast food restaurants in schools may have better healthy options compared to the school cafeteria’s version of healthy lunches. Some schools today already have fast food restaurants in their schools. Other smaller schools cater by ordering in the lunches.

Based on the vending machines and the school cafeteria options, I don’t see any different between the number of healthy and unhealthy items in all of these choices. As a matter of fact, vending machines seem to only carry sugary and salty snacks. I have never seen healthy options in a vending machine at all. At least, fast food restaurants have a few healthy options to choose from.
