To answer this question, we have to weigh in on several factors. Are we talking about the laws here on Earth or the teachings of the Bible? There are no specific laws in the United States banning the act of homosexuality although there are still people who condemn homosexuals because the Bible says so. According to Leviticus 18:22, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” In Leviticus 20:13, it states that “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.” In Romans 1:27, it states that “and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.”
And in 1 Corinthians 6:9, it states that “Or do you now know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality xxx.” However, it is worthy to note that our views on this topic will depend upon our own intelligence and understanding about homosexuality. I personally believe that homosexuality is not a sin regardless of what the Bible says.
