There is no specific law prohibiting Christians to drink alcohol. Even in the Bible, it is accepted for Christians to drink such. Even though alcohol is not a sin, Christians are still being advised not to misuse alcohol or cause the use of such to bring other people down. According to Galatians 5:1, “It was for freedom the Christ set us free xxx” and in 1 Corinthians 6:12,

“All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.” This just means that it is okay to consume alcohol, but one is warned about intoxication. This answer is supported by Proverbs 20:1 which states, “Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is intoxicated by it is not wise.”
