The easiest way to make homemade candles is to buy some unscented candle wax, melt it down at home, and create candles that way. Once the wax has been melted, you can add essential oils or some kind of perfumed fragrance oil to create a wonderful scented candle. Pour the wax into a container, preferably glass or some kind of material that can handle hot materials since the wax will be warm at this point. Very warm.
Add a wick, which you’ll have to buy unless you want to learn how to make that from scratch too. Once the wax has cooled, you can use the candle. If you’ve done it right, the wax will be drawn up the wick and burn slowly instead of trying to melt all at once.
