Meat is a good source of protein, vitamins and minerals in your diet. However, if you currently eat more than 90g (cooked weight) of red and processed meat a day, the Department of Health advises that you cut down to 70g, which is the average daily consumption in the UK. Finally and most importantly, meat makes the food much tastier and satisfying.

There are also a large variety of meat preparations and dishes that give us better pleasures of dining. It is really hard to prepare a sumptuous vegetarian meal as you will require a variety of vegetables and ingredients to make a tasty meal with many dishes; plus a lot of time required for the preparation. However, a single good food item prepared with meat alone can make the meat eater satiated and satisfied with the food.
