This is a type of protein that can be found in red blood cells. Its primary purpose is to make sure that oxygen will be carried out in different parts of the body. The various parts of the body will always need oxygen to survive.

Some people may have low hemoglobin, but they will not feel it. In some extreme cases, low hemoglobin will cause people to become pale, have trouble breathing, and so much more. In a lot of cases, having low hemoglobin is a sign that a person has anemia. Take note that anemia can be short term or long term. You should get yourself checked if you have been feeling anemic for some time.
