The correct answer to this question is False. A motherboard is an essential aspect of a computer. It is the main printed circuit board found in the system. The motherboard is where communication between different elements of the system, including memory and central processing unit, occur. It can also house interface cards, hard drives, and provide a USB slot. Motherboards are different in design for various reasons.

For one, it has to fit the machine. As technology has evolved, the size of tools has gotten smaller, which results in the motherboard being lower as well to fit the device. Along with size, every computer has different functions. Some may have a USB slot or a memory card slot, while others may not. The motherboard will accommodate the design and features the device is meant to have.
