Animals need Air, habitat, water and food to survive.

1. Without air, it is impossible for animals to survive. All animals most breathe in oxygen to survive. Oxygen is also needed to prevent and destroy harmful bacteria from an animal's body.

2. Water and food: Water is the most important nutrient that all animals need. Water forms more than 50 percentage of fluids in an animal's body. Water is the needed for chemical reactions take place within an animal's body. Food is important for survival, it provides energy and nutrients needed for the overall well being of an animal.

3. Habitat: all animals need a place to live, a place to hide from predators and a place where it can find oxygen, food and water.
