Hypervolemia is a disorder in which it affects the blood in a patient. The patient’s blood has way too much fluid in it. Hypovolemia is when there is not enough fluid in the blood which is a result of having too much ingestion of sodium. When hypervolemia occurs, the problems can lead to heart problems and kidney and liver issues. In most cases, a person would notice this disorder due to the swelling in their limbs.

People may also have shortness of breath or have trouble catching their breath. Swelling can also happen in the face. When a pregnant woman experiences physiologic hypervolemia of pregnancy, it will increase the volume of blood loss in which it will produce maternal hypotension.
