Most web browsers have a finding tool, which allows you to scan the page for similar words or phrases. Google is a popular website for searching for things.

You can use Google’s advanced search options to perform a search for a word or phrase on all the pages of a specific site.

• The following are simple steps to searching for a word on a webpage.

• Using Google as an example, here is how to enact a successful search.

• Visit Google in your browser.

• You can use Google to find searches of all the pages on a website.

• This search can help you find keywords or phrases on large or sophisticated sites. Enter the site, which is siteaddress.com, at the front of the search.

• This search will tell Google to only search through pages on that site.

• Enter the word or phrase you are exploring for after the site address.

• If you want Google to search for a precise word or phrase, you should put the word in the quotation.

• Start a page from the search results and use the find command.

• Google will provide any pages that match your search, but it will not direct you to the corresponding text once you open the page.

• You will need to use the find tool to go to where the word is found on the page.

Isn’t it that sometimes you would have some trouble trying to find the information that you are searching for because you cannot find the keyword?

You can search for the word that you are searching for to get the details that you want in seconds.

• Press CTRL+F.

• This will allow you to open “Find.”

• If you are using Mac, you would need to press Command+F.

• Open the web page where you are going to search for the word.

• Type in the word that you are looking for.

• Once you find the word, get the details that you need.

You can do the same thing for every website that you see.

All web browsers have the ability to use the search function on the web page. This is especially important when conducting research.

To search a web page for a word, use these simple steps:

• First, open up the Find box. If you are Windows, press CTRL + F. If on Mac, Press COMMAND + F
• The find box will appear. On most browsers, it appears at the upper, right hand corner of the webpage
• Next, type the word that you wish to find
• If there are multiple matches, you may press enter or the arrows to go through them
