1. To install a NEST learning thermostat, the first thing to do is to turn the thermostat off.
2. Get a screwdriver to unscrew the cover of the thermostat in order to install the new one. Labeling the wire exactly as they came with the Nest unit is the next thing to do.
3. After labeling the wires in the thermostat, try to remove the wires from the current thermostat as you prepare to replace it with the new one.
4. There is a center hole under the thermostat, pass the labeled wires through it.
5. The Nest base should be placed against the wall and use a screwdriver to tighten it to the wall through the screw holes, then connect the wires.
6. Switch on the thermostat, and the Nest ring should be pressed twice, then select a Wi-Fi network. Enter your password if you have one. Also, confirm the wiring screen and follow the instructions, then set the temperature.
