There are some people who can become confused with the different drugs that are available. Aplenzin and Wellbutrin are known to be brand-name drugs that are both used in order to treat depression. One difference between the two is that Wellbutrin will come with a generic counterpart, which is usually the choice of people who would like to get an effect from the medication without spending too much money in the process.

Aplenzin is considered to be more expensive between the two. Wellbutrin usually comes in two forms, which are Wellbutrin SR, which means Sustained Release and Wellbutrin XL, which is an extended-release version. The XL version will have the tendency to remain in the body for a longer period of time.
