The earth and the sun are two different bodies in the solar system, and they have some significant differences between them. The earth is well known to be a planet where living things thrive the most, but the sun is recognized as a big star.

The planet earth has layers that cover or make up the earth, such as the lithosphere (dry part), hydrosphere (liquid part), and the atmosphere (which is the gaseous part). The earth contains a whole lot of minerals and useful elements, while the sun is just considered a gas-emitting body.

As the earth is known to occupy a whole lot of living things; no normal living thing would survive near the sun. However, these two bodies are very far from themselves. The sun is also found to be so much bigger than the earth in terms of diameter, about 100 times bigger.

The Earth and Sun are two aspects of our Solar system. Earth is a planet, and it is the third one from the Sun. The sun is considered to be a star. Another difference between them is what they are comprised of. Earth is seen as a solid and a rock. The sun is viewed as being made of dangerous gases.

As it is made of gases, the Sun is not a place where people can live, while billions of people live on Earth. Though the Earth is solid, the sun is much bigger than Earth. Comparing the diameter between the two, the Sun has a diameter that is 100 times more than the Earth.

The earth and the sun are known to be different from each other. The earth is known to be the third planet from the sun which is considered to be the center of our solar system. The sun is actually a star but this is so big that there are more than a million earth that can fit inside the sun.

Take note that the earth is a type of planet while the sun is mostly composed of gases. The sun is usually filled with helium and hydrogen so you can expect that it will be able to emit light on its own. Without the sun, it will be impossible for the earth to stay warm enough for people and other living beings to live.

The sun is one of the heavenly bodies, a star, while the earth is one of the planets. Both the earth and sun are spherical in shape, but the sun is proved to be bigger than the earth. The earth is made of some necessary components such as the hydrosphere (the water bodies), the lithosphere (the solid part of the earth), and the atmosphere (which makes up the airspace).

The sun is just like a huge ball gas that is of very high temperature. The earth is palatable to accommodate living organisms, while the sun does not have any living organism on it. Any living organism, including humans that goes near the sun is set for death.

Comparing these two bodies in dimension, size, and volume, the sun is about a hundred times bigger than the earth. The earth constitutes of several minerals and elements, while the sun is composed of some dangerous gases.
