Flood is known to be an overflow of water that may happen in a certain area especially after it rains for a long time or when there is a typhoon or hurricane in the area. When an area is flooded, this means that the area may remain underwater for an extended period of time. For places with bad sewage and drainage, it may take days before the flood will be removed.

A flash flood is almost the same as the flood. There will also be water that will stay in one area for a certain period of time. This time, the flood will only be there for a short while. A flash flood may only last for six hours. The problem with this is that it may take people by surprise when it occurs.
