Everyone at one time or another has gotten a rip in their pants or shirt. Some people come well-prepared for this problem. They take out their travel sewing kit and stitch their pants or shirt. Whenever you stitch something or are stitching, you are usually repairing something that involves a needle and thread. If you are sewing, you are generally creating a pair of pants, shirt, skirt, or something else.

It requires more than just stitching or using the needle and thread. Stitching is almost always done by hand with the needle and thread whereas sewing is done a lot more with a sewing machine. Therefore, stitching can be done in a few minutes, but sewing takes a lot longer usually.
