If you have ever sent messages over long distances, then you probably used some cables. These are two cables that are paired and twisted. The two types are called STP and UTP. STP stands for shielded twisted pair, and the UTP stands for unshielded twisted pair. STP cables cost more, and UTP cables cost less.

If you need the cable to bend, then you should use the UTP cables because they are thinner whereas the STP cables are heavier and harder to bend. The most obvious difference is that the STP cables are shielded and the UTP cables are unshielded. If you want cables where there is no interference or static, then STP cables are better than UTP cables.
