Holi is a popular festival in India particularly among Hindus and is also popular among other Asian countries but the festival is much celebrated in India than any other places. Holi festival has been called a lot of things, it is known as the festival of colors, the festival of love and the festival of spring. The festival is celebrated in different ways, people troop out to enjoy themselves, play with their relatives.

The festival is described as a festival of love because people extend good gestures to the needy and the less privilege. Holi is also celebrated because it marks the end of spring and the beginning of winter. The historical event behind the celebration if Holi was about a powerful king that reigned in India who would want everybody to see him and worship him as God. But it turned out that his son was not ready to treat him like a God, so he planned various means to kill his son but he failed eventually.
