Acrophobia which simply means an extreme or intense fear of heights is a form of anxiety disorder. To have a clearer picture of my explanation, mental disorder is about all sorts of mental health conditions that affect our thinking, behavior, and even our mood.

Example of mental disorders are eating behavior, depression, addictive behavior and particularly anxiety disorder, under which acrophobia or extreme fear of heights can be categorized. The reaction of people to different kinds of all known phobia especially acrophobia is one way to show and distinguish their conditions according to what they are afraid of. An acrophobic person will always have fear of high places even when his mates or people around do not feel the same way.
