There are a number of types of cloning that are in effect today. They all fall into three main types, however. The three types are: genetic cloning, therapeutic cloning, and reproductive cloning. Genetic has to do with producing copies or replicas of segments of DNA or genes. Reproductive cloning is the copy of entire mammals or animals.

There is no way around the fact that they will all become part of daily life. To speculate on exactly how they will be used, for good or for evil, is another subject entirely. They are in existence though and are moving forward.
