Aspen trees are important to cloning because they themself clone. They can be studied and scientists can figure out the methods and details nature uses to clone which can help them figure out better ways to clone humans and also vegetation and animals.

They can study every aspect of how the cloning happens and even why it doesn't always happen. The Aspen has been the source of much research, as you can imagine, when it comes to studying about clones and cloning. It is best that the studying be done on trees than on humans so things can be learned first and it is good to see just how nature goes about it all.
