Baseball games have nine innings with each team getting three outs and each team getting a chance to bat for the three outs. This is the time-consuming part. The only way for the Major League Baseball organization to speed up the duration of the baseball games would be to change the whole game and take out parts of it. For instance, you could take out some of the innings or shorten the number of outs a team gets.

Another rule could be added that would shorten the duration of the baseball games and that is to set a limit on the number of runs. It could be where a team can only score one run and once that is done that team’s turn at bat is over.
