These are known as “hangover foods.” At this point a hungover person, may go over to their kitchen and eat every food in sight. Carbohydrates is the culprit. Carbs are known for making people hungry even if they ate something recently. Carbs include pasta and rice.
These foods among the many other high-carb foods increases someone’s appetite. The alcohol contains large amounts of carbs. This alone would cause someone to be hungry. Also, alcohol consumed in large quantities also affects your blood sugar. When your body has to react to the low levels of blood sugar, this exertion that your system has to go through causes you to be hungry too.
