September is the national food safety month which is now recognized all over the globe. National Food Safety Month was created in 1994 to heighten the awareness about the importance of food safety education. This year’s theme is “National Food Safety Month 20-year anniversary: Top 20 tips”, offering the best tips from the past 20 years of the National Food Safety Month. Weekly training activity areas communicate concepts clearly and quickly to employees, and can be completed in less than 10 minutes.
Some of the topics include: the best cleaning and sanitizing, cross-contamination, time-temperature control, personal hygiene and allergen tips from the past 20 years.
