Which is the largest type of animal in the world?

Whales are the largest animals on the earth. There are many different kinds of whales. The blue whale is the largest kind of whale. The name of “blue whale” has also come to mean a cyber game that may or may not have existed and was invented in 2013. That is beside the point.

The animals are typically large and can swim quite aways in the water before they tucker out. However, they spend so much of their life under the water that they are, quite literally, unable to live on the land. No whale can. Despite this, they still need air, so they surface quite often to expel old, used air and take another large breath. Then, they return underwater.
