Kangaroo and Wallaby are both native to Australia, and both belong to the same family known as the Marsupial family. Both animals look very similar as they have a lot in common when you consider their physical appearance. A perfect example of this is that both animals have hind legs that look very similar, but the hind legs of Wallaby are not as long as that of the kangaroo; the latter has farther hind legs compared to that of the former.

The nature of Kangaroo's legs is the reason why it runs faster than Wallaby. Also, you can also notice their differences when you consider their size. Wallaby is not as big as kangaroo; the latter is way bigger and taller than the former.

As a result of this, you can easily understand why kangaroo weighs more than Wallaby. Another difference between the two is the color of their coats. Kangaroo can appear in different colors like gray or brown, while Wallaby has different flashy colors.
