Ugc is - content that is produced by the consumerit is becoming extremely popular since 2005, with the help of sites like wikipedia. but there are 4 different types of ugc which are 1: users and mainstream media: ireport- cnn launched a platform for user-generated content. this gives consumers the ok to add their own information to get a better written picture. 2: amateurs and professionals together: pro-am effortsthis is the assistance of amateurs in creating news stories 3: collaborative content creation: wikinews- where stories are written as articles and consumers and add information as they please.4: citizen journalists: ohmynews- a news outlet with the otto, every citizen is a reporter where readers publish articles to the site.
