Whether you’re a collector or are planning to sell your comics one day to raise cash, keeping them in pristine condition is key to getting the most money out of the sale. After reading your comics, it’s important to store them in plastic bags or protective cardboards. This can help protect them from damage while being stored for a long time.
If you can, please control the temperature. Fluctuating hot and cold environments is one of the greatest enemies of paper. You might also want to invest in comic book boxes with lids to protect the spine and also to block the sun’s UV rays.
If you do have to store your comics in a box, don’t stack more than three at a time, as the pressure will damage the ones at the bottom. If possible, invest in a cabinet where you can stand them upright.
