Changing your password is sometimes necessary when you want to make sure that only a few people can access your WiFi. At times, you need to change your password just to keep it secure.

Some of the things that you can do are the following:

• If you are using an Apple device, click on the WiFi icon that you can find at the top right portion.

• Look for network preferences and choose “Advanced WiFi.”

• Highlight the name of the WiFi with the password that you want to edit.

• You can press the minus sign then press the plus sign again.

• This will give you the chance to start filling in the password.

The process can be different if you are going to change with the use of your Windows PC. You need to go to a website to change it.

There are a number of ways to derive the most out of your home WiFi network. You could be looking to improve the signal with the equipment you own, or you could have purchased a new router.

Sometimes you need to simplify or change something small.

• One of the common ways to change your WiFi password is to open the router’s admin interface in your browser.

• You can verify the manual or the website for specific knowledge about your router.

• Log in with the IP address with the admin name and password.

• Locate your router’s IP address.

• Type IP configures into the command prompt.

• Choose the Windows key + R type, cmd and press enter.

• Then, you should see the router’s IP address there to the right of the default entrance below your existing network connection.

• Type the Internet Protocol address into your browser’s address bar, and press enter.

• Register the router’s username and password to log in.

• Once you are logged in, you can alter your WiFi password.

• On Mac, you can check or change your WiFi password directly from the Apple menu.

• Click the Apple menu, choose system preference, and then click on the network icon.

• From there, select your WiFi connection and then click advanced.

• Next, choose the TCP/IP tab and watch for your router’s IP address to the right of the device.

• Once you have the Internet Protocol address, type it into the address bar in your browser and hit enter.

• Next, enter the router’s username and password.

• After you log in, you will need to establish the WiFi settings and watch for a field for the SSID or network name and one for a password.

• Click apply and save.
