The two most common operating systems for pcs are OS X and Windows. The major difference between Windows and OS X is the computer which corresponds to it. OS X is used explicitly for Apple computers, commonly known as Macs, while Windows works with any company computer. Computers that run on Windows can be purchased at a much lower cost than Macs that run OS X. You can also buy Windows separately. It makes more economic sense to choose Windows.

However, Windows often has a great deal of malware, which has the possibility of corrupting it. If you are attempting to write a virus or a trojan, you would most likely target a more sophisticated operating system for the opportunity to maximize its spread. Because there are limited OS X users, it is not a valuable time for programmers to study OS X.

OS X and Windows are very important operating systems that make the machine to make sense to the user. The main difference between OS X and Windows is the kind of computer you can use them with. I believe you should have been hearing of the Apple products if at all you do not know about them. These Apple products are also referred to as Macs, and the kind of operating system that you use with them is OS X. On the contrary, the computers outside the Apple products, which we are familiar with, and can also be referred to as PC, generally make use of the Windows operating system. As a matter of fact, Windows is known to be cheaper than OS X. You can also purchase or obtain your Windows differently, and install it into your computer. This is unlike OS X, which compulsorily comes with the Apple products.

The main difference between OS X and Windows is that you would be using them on different devices. You would be using OS X when you are using Apple devices. If you would check out all of the Macs, you would be using this OS X always. Windows, on the other hand, can be used in different types of devices.

A lot of the other laptops that are available are using different varieties of Windows depending on how new the Windows-powered laptop is. For example, if you are using a newer model, you may be using Windows 10. If you are using an old laptop, it may still be powered by Windows HP, Vista, or even Windows 7.

OS X and Windows happen to be the most popular kinds of the operating system that we have. But OS X is usually used in Apple computers popularly known as Macs, while Windows is majorly used in other brands of the personal computer. Also, the cost of the purchase of computers that use Windows is higher than that of Macs that make use of OS X. You can even purchase Windows operating system separately to install into your PC, but this is not so for OS X.

OS X and Windows happen to be the most popular kinds of the operating system that we have. But OS X
The OS X operating system only comes with the new purchase of a Mac computer. Another difference between these operating systems is the number of software available to be installed on them. Most software is not really compatible with OS X; or better said, Windows has more compatible software than OS X. Windows also have more malware than OS X. When we are talking of Trojans or viruses, the risk is mostly on windows.
