There are some words that can sound so confusing especially if you did not hear how each one was pronounced. When you say pore, this is known to be a small opening that can be found in some living items. For example, you will have pores on your skin where the sweat will come out. Even plants will have some pores too. When you say poor, this means something that is not satisfactory. For example, when you say “poor way of living,” this means that the person is not really living his/her best life.

In fact, the person may barely have enough of his needs in order to survive. When you say pour, this means that you would need to dispense any liquid substance. Most of the time, you use this term for a drink but you can use it for other liquid items.
