Do you want to listen to lossless music on Mac? The best thing that you can do is to choose between FLAC and ALAC. When it comes to sound quality, FLAC is the better choice. This is because of the higher sampling rate and bit encoding. ALAC will have a 16-bit while FLAC will have a 24-bit.

If you would check out ALAC, you will notice that its quality is similar to the CDs that you used to have which means that it is still good. This will definitely be better than most of the digital files that you may have and listen to. FLAC will provide you with a studio-quality sound that you will greatly appreciate for sure.
