Asthma is an inflammation of the bronchi, which causes swelling and narrowing of the airways and the production of extra mucous. This inflammation triggers cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, dyspnea, and chest tightness. This condition becomes worse at night and early in the morning. Asthma occurs from partially known genetic factors and contact with the environment. Heart problems include any condition that harms the heart.

Heart disease slowly progresses over time. Some of the first signs of heart problems include swelling of the ankles, chest pain, leg cramps, headaches, fatigue, leg cramps during walking, and shortness of breath. Some of the most common heart problems include atherosclerosis, valvular heart disease, myocarditis, angina, and arrhythmia.

The duration of these symptoms is the reason why the various types of asthma are based on the severity of the problem.

This can be intermittent and can persist for a longer period of time. On the other hand, heart problems are a number of conditions that can damage the heart.
