What is the difference between Pole cat and Ferret?

Some people feel that the polecat and the ferret look almost the same. The ferret is considered to be the more domesticated version of the polecat. There are some differences in the way that they look, though. For example, you can expect that the polecat is going to have a larger head as compared to a ferret.

Another main difference is that you can identify the sex of the ferret just by looking at its color. There are different color variations that are available. Some would be creamy white, but there are also some that would be dark brown in color. Take note that both polecats and ferrets belong to the weasel family, but they are not the same creature.
