Telecommunication can be said to be the transfer of information or data within two or more receptive ends through a particular distance in the form of electromagnetic signals. On the other hand, networking can be defined as the process of connecting two or more devices to a system source, majorly known as a server.

Networking usually functions within a short range of distance through a physical medium such as cable or wire. This might require a protocol for good performance and system applications. The medium of transition in telecommunication is through devices that can receive electromagnetic signals, such as radios, televisions, or phones in the form of image, video, text, and sound.

Therefore, in networking, you can experience failure in transition when there is a disconnection between cables or when there is a difference in protocol between two media. The cause of failure in data transmission in telecommunications is usually due to wrong settings in applications of software or miscommunication and can also be due to main wave recipient positioning.
