Ahi and Mahi are two examples of fishes that can be found in most parts of the world. Ahi is a type of tuna, and it can either be a yellowfin tuna or a bigeye tuna. It is mostly found on the Pacific coast of Mexico, Hawaii, and Southern California.

The most common type of ahi out of the two types is the yellowfin tuna. It is often used for sporting activities since they are usually bigger than bigeye tuna. Mahi, on the other hand, is also known as dolphin fish, although it does not have the same size as the real dolphin fish.

Mahi is mostly found in tropical water, subtropical, and temperate waters. Although, you are going to get more meat from Mahi because it is fleshy, however, it is not as tasty ahi. Also, while both fishes usually come with an average weight of 10kg, very old ahi can weigh as high as 90kg.
