The battle of Waterloo is considered to be the battle that ended Napoleon’s reign, probably because it thwarted the attempts of Napoleon Bonaparte to invade certain parts of Europe. Napoleon actually caused a lot of wars over a certain period. There were different wars from 1803 to 1815 that caused the death of over five million people.
After the Battle of Waterloo, it became apparent that Napoleon was losing the trust and the loyalty of the people. The last battle is probably the most significant one because it ended an era. After the last battle, Napoleon abdicated. There are also different coalition forces that entered Paris days later. The battle may have lasted for three days, but this definitely made a lot of difference with history.

After Napoleon returned to power in March 1815, many states (allies) opposed him, and they formed the Seventh Coalition. The Seven Coalition began to mobilize armies. The Seventh Coalition defeated Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo. The British exiled Napoleon to the island of Saint Helena in the South Atlantic, where he died six years later.
