There are a lot of people who are interested in Ancient Egypt. The more that they research, the more that they realize that it may be tied with Mesopotamia. These two have some known differences. The type of government that they had were different. They both had a centralized government but the pharaoh ruled over Egypt while a King ruled over Mesopotamia.

The Egyptians are considered to be rather optimistic about the things that they go through in life while the Mesopotamians are more pessimistic probably because of their frequent problems with flooding as they lived between two rivers, Tigris and Euphrates. Their major difference in the way that they looked at life is probably the reason why Ancient Egypt is studied more.
