Is there any solution to water crisis?

It is not a new thing that water is one of the essential substances for human consumption. Water is needed in the body for a lot of reasons. However, as important as water is to our daily living, there are some people, countries that are still battling with the scarcity of water. According to research, there are about 1.1 billion people who do not have access to clean and drinkable water. However, efforts have been made to solve this crisis. The issue of water crisis can be solved by adopting some measures, although they look very simple they will help.

The first solution is through conservation. This is needed because it will prevent wastage or overuse of water. When you become principled with the way you use available water, you will not run out of water. Another solution is through prevention. Proper monitoring should be made on all the connecting pipes that bring water to people; all leaking pipes should be repaired to prevent loss of water. Another solution is by treating available sources of water that have been contaminated with chemicals.
