There are a lot of acronyms and abbreviations on social media that one just needs to know them, if not you might feel so bad when it is used for you and you helplessly don't know the meaning. An example is OFC, the acronym means 'Of Course'. It is used as a confirmation to what has been said or something that we can use to validate any agreement we have made with someone.

For instance, you might choose to say: 'Of course I'm going to the party with you'. The statement has reassured the second person that he would be going to a party with someone. The acronym is widely used on social media probably because of the ease at which it can be typed. It is also used to correct people's opinion when they are doubting your knowledge about a particular thing.

For example, people might think you don't know the president of United States, you can simply answer them by saying, 'Of course I know is Donald Trump'.

This is another abbreviation that may have different meanings. People who like to shorten the things that they type so that they do not have to make a lot of effort may use this word when they want to refer to the office. There are also some people who use this to say “Of course.”

For example, you may be asking for a favor from a friend and your friend requires Ofc. It will be safer to assume that your friend means “Of course” which means that he/she is agreeing with the favor that you are asking as compared to assuming that your friend is still in the office and will not be able to attend to your request right now. Still, it would not hurt to ask if you are not sure.

OFC is the acronym of ''Of course''. The acronym 'OFC' is often used as a slang. 'Of course' is one of the most used words in English, it's rare not to see six out of ten people using the expression in a day. The acronym OFC is something very common and mostly used by people when chatting online or when sending messages.

The ease at which typing OFC and it will have the same meaning as of 'course' is why people prefer using the acronym instead of writing the full form. OFC is an expression used to say something is certainly or obviously going to happen.

When you use ''Of course'', you are reassuring the certainty or possibility that something you meant would happen. OFC can be used anywhere in a sentence, it can be used at the end, anywhere in the middle or at the beginning. And it's most times being used to answer yes or no to any question.
