IDC is the acronym for I Don't Care. It is very hard to really say exactly what this stands for. This is because the acronym can be used in different ways. Whatever meaning you give to the acronym IDC actually depends solely on how it is used in a sentence. IDC can be used to show that you are no longer bothered about people's opinions about you. For example you can say, I Don't Care about what people are saying about my dressing.

It is used to show that you no longer have concerns about some things or people. For example you can say: I Don't Care whether you are sacked or not. There are different ways people use the acronym on social media. One particular thing ladies complain about in a relationship is that, they are getting less attention from their boyfriends and that they don't care about them anymore.

IDC is another of those abbreviations used in texting, such as LOL (laugh out loud). IDC stands for I don't care. Now this can be applied to items of the news, such as Donald Trump's son being called to give testimony re- Russian links, or to personal relationships, such as, 'She's stood you up' - Well, I don't care. IDC.

As with many abbreviations, you can give offence when you were merely giving a rapid reaction. It's so easy and quick to put three initials and the live to regret it if the situation is one you hadn't givne yourself time to think over.

When someone says IDC, this means that the person does not care. IDC means “I don’t care.” This is an abbreviation that people may use when they are annoyed with another person. For example, your younger brother may be trying to annoy you by providing some useless information that you have no interest in, if you are truly annoyed, you may say “IDC.”

Just remember that doing this may hurt your brother’s feelings. Using this may actually hurt the feelings of any person that you are talking to especially if it is their feelings that you do not care about. There are also instances when you may use this when you hear the news that you have no interest in.

Have you ever wondered what people mean when they use the acronym IDC, don't worry you are getting the answer very soon. IDC is the acronym for I Don't Care. The acronym is something very common, when people are tired of something so much that they are no longer concerned about what might be the consequence or repercussion, they use the acronym IDC which means 'I Don't Care'.

Also, when people say IDC, they are trying to tell you that they are not interested in whatever you are calling them into.

For example, Do you care for Rice and Beans?, the second person may say, IDC (I Don't Care). The slang word is often used online especially on online chats, instant message, email and even in the real world. Don't use the acronym in a formal conversation with people. IDC can be used alone, it can also be used together with a sentence
