Overall the Pacific Ocean would probably not be considered to be a peaceful ocean. For one reason, the ring of fire is located and surrounds the Pacific Ocean. The ring of fire is the area close to the coast that forms a circle around the Pacific Ocean. This area is filled with volcanoes. Due to the volcanoes being active, these eruptions would cause a disruption in the waves of the Pacific Ocean.

Also, the Pacific Ocean is known for its violent areas. There are spots that are calm, but for the most part the ocean is large and has a lot of weather problems and violent waves. It would be best to swim or sail across another ocean if you are wanting calm waters and a peaceful ocean.
