There are many causes from which a pulmonary embolism can come from. Pulmonary embolisms are blood clots that travel from tehe leg or possibly from another area of the body and go into the lung where they can become lodged. There are root sources which may increase a person's risk of getting the clot or clots in the first place.

Cancer can be the root of a blood clot, although it is not very common. Cancer of the bloodor cancer and the lung are known to manifest them. Thick blood can be the root of clots too. DeepVein Thrombosis is a condition which certainly can be the culprit.Those who have cancer of the blood, cancer of the lung, thick blood, or any other medical ailment which leaves the susceptible to pulmonary embolisms should be aware of the symptoms and see a physician upon any sign of the problem.
